2026 HEPNet Annual Conference

Join us on November 2-5 at Arizona State University for the HEPNet Annual Conference. This year’s conference theme is Guardians of the Oasis: Protecting Youth In Our Care and will feature Pre-Cons as well as 2 1/2 days of educational sessions.

Schedule Overview:

• Monday, November 2 includes Pre-con 101 and 202 and new this year: Pre-con Hot Topics!
• Don’t forget to join us for the welcome event on Monday.
• Breakout sessions and all-group sessions will be on November 3-5
• The conference will conclude before noon on Thursday, November 5
• All breakout sessions will run 60 minutes in length

Pre-Con Topic Descriptions | Monday, November 2 from 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM MST

Jump-start your conference experience with a pre-con session: interactive, in-depth learning designed to help you build, strengthen, and respond to the evolving needs of your youth protection program.

• Pre-Con 101: How to get started on creating a youth protection program. We will overview of what components are part of a program and the compliance involved to manage it.
• Pre-Con 202: A deep-dive into that next level of the ongoing management of your youth protection program. We will discuss compliance, getting buy-in, policy cycles, and finding your resources within your work.
• Pre-Con Hot Topics: Get the context and trends for the most pressing topics in your work right now: AI, athletics, and training. We will have discussions that will get your most pressing questions answered.
