The Higher Education Protection Network (HEPNet) is a national association linking together those that seek to advance the interactions of higher education institutions with children and youth.  We serve as a coordinated voice promoting good practices for protecting vulnerable populations and providing programming and resources appropriate to their needs.

We are advocates for youth partaking in activities and programs conducted by colleges and universities.  Child abuse happens too often and we seek to advance the interactions of higher education institutions that are serving children and youth.

Members receive a wealth of resources, such as networking, benchmarking, and good practice guides. While anyone supporting our mission is eligible to become a member, non-members are welcome to peruse the site and view our public resources

HEPNet members receive numerous resources.  Each month, we highlight different resources.

Leadership

There are many committees that need chairs and participants and the sky is the limit in how involved you can get in HEPNet.  The great thing about this field is very few have “been doing it for 30 years,” so there is no intimidation factor holding someone back from getting involved, even if you are brand new.  We welcome all professional fields and experience levels to contribute to our mission and goals.
